As Communications Manager, Jenn Curtin works in partnership with the Vice President of Communications and the programs department to execute the foundation’s communications plan and to ensure efficient and effective grant-making. In this role, she leads the foundation’s digital media efforts and assists in strengthening the messaging and communications strategies deployed to achieve state and national policy goals.
Prior to joining the Gill Foundation, Jenn was a Program Associate at Equality Federation, the strategic partner to state-based LGBT advocacy organizations. In this role, she helped strengthen their major donor program, assisted the communications team in the implementation of digital media programs, and provided support to the board of directors.
Jenn received a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Jenn spent her academic years focusing on advocating for equality for LGBT people and women as well as developing skills in database management and communication strategies for nonprofit organizations.
A native of Los Angeles who loves live music and performances, Jenn is a Colorado transplant.
