Nathan is a program officer for the Gill Foundation, responsible for litigation strategies to advance LGBTQ equality under the law.
Before joining the Gill Foundation, Nathan served as Deputy Director of Social Policy and Politics for Third Way in Washington, DC. There, he led work on challenging federal issues, including LGBTQ equality, immigration reform, gun safety policy, and reproductive rights. During law school, Nathan worked with a number of national LGBTQ organizations and the United States Senate Judiciary Committee.
Originally from California, with Minnesota family ties, Nathan moved to Washington for college. Nathan graduated from the George Washington University School of Law and earned a degree in international relations from American University. He now lives in Denver and spends much of his free time diving into science fiction and skiing.
