As a program officer, Claire Carroll develops and implements grant-making strategies focused on state-based initiatives and expanding the range of allies supporting LGBTQ equality. With over a decade of public policy, communications, and grant administration experience, Claire deploys a nimble and pragmatic approach to advancing the foundation’s mission.

Claire has built unlikely partnerships to promote shared goals ranging from protecting water resources to redefining mental health conversations. Her expertise includes policy analysis and advocacy, collaboration, writing, and fostering relationships.

Claire earned a master’s of public policy from the University of Denver and a double degree in sociology and communication studies, with a minor in women and gender studies, from Texas Christian University.

When not working to make strides toward equality, Claire can be found making memories with her family, reading, traveling, and gardening.
