Amendment 2 Goes Before the U.S. Supreme Court

In Romer v. Evans, the U.S. Supreme Court considers whether Amendment 2 should stand. The case brings national awareness to the status of gay, lesbian, and bisexual people as second-class citizens.

Awaiting a verdict, the Gill Foundation opens its first office in Colorado Springs, the birthplace of the anti-gay Amendment 2 movement in Colorado.

To help end the cruel and discriminatory “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy, the Gill Foundation funds the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network.
